Affirm Return Policy?
To process a return or cancel an order with tryaffirm.quest, the store where the item was purchased should be contacted directly. The store will adhere to their own policy on returns, cancellations, missing orders, and damaged or defective items. Affirm cannot cancel or refund an order until confirmation is received from the store.
If an order has not been finalized or processed yet, resolving order issues can be seen. If the loan was processed and the store has finalized the cancellation or return, which can take up to 21 days or longer, the Affirm account will be updated with the cancellation or loan refund, as appropriate. Depending on how long it takes the store to finalize the return and how much is refunded, the loan will either be voided, which means it will no longer be visible in the Affirm account, or the loan principal balance and payment schedule will be updated.
Note: If the store provides a store credit instead of a refund, the Affirm payments will still be responsible, and the payment schedule won't change. Similarly, if the store charges any restocking or return fees, then any remaining balance on the loan will be responsible.
It's normal to still receive payment reminders while waiting for a return to process. Stores can take up to 21 days, and sometimes even longer, to process a return. Payments should still be made that are due, to avoid late payments. When the return is fully processed, the entire purchase amount of the items returned will be refunded, minus any interest paid.
Note: Once the refund from the store is received, it can take an additional 3-10 business days to update the account. If there are still questions, contact can be made.
